Aria Air has difficulty measuring BF% but even when it does, the App doesn't use it for stats.

Aria Air scale, android app running on os version 10.

To get  BF% reading, I have to wipe the scale and my feet with a slightly damp cloth. Every time - including an immediate reweighing. What is more troubling is that the App receives the data, shows it accurately in the immediate pop-up, I click save, then it goes away. It isn't reflected in the Today page, and is no longer there when I click back through to the individual records. It also never makes it to the website.

 

Today it started doing the same thing with weight. Registers, but doesn't get incorporated into stats, never makes it to the website, and then disappears.

Is there a way to force update the app without losing my data? Does the scale need a firmware update?

Anybody else having this issue?

Hello @kmkelmor and welcome to the Community.  I read your post several times, but the Aria Air doesn't measure body fat percentage.  I'm not sure what you are seeing on your scale.
