Aria Air not auto syncing weight on app

Just bought the aria air. It has paired with my phone ok but my weight does not auto sync. I have tried logging in and out of the app etc. How do I get the aria air to auto sync my weight. This will be returned if that function does not work as what’s the point in manually adding your weight, that’s what I did with my old scales! Thank you for any help. Remember I have already logged off and on again. Thank you.

Cool. Now if FItBit can figure out why this works and fix the darn app we all will be happy.

I just bought the Aria Air a few days ago and it only auto synced once. After that it hasn't synced. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I think the app is buggy.

The app is indeed buggy! Try going into the Fitbit app and tap Force Stop. Then sync the app and try the scale again. That usually works for me. I've had to do it several times now. I hope they get it fixed soon!

Thanks! Force quitting the Fitbit app seems to do the trick. BUT force quitting is almost as much of a hassle of just entering my weight manually. Ugh. I hope they fix this soon.

You're welcome. Yes it is indeed a hassle that should not be.

I bought the Aria Air a few days ago and it synced my weight once after setting up. Since then I either have to manually do it or reset my scale and sync to my app again but then the next day it won't sync again.

When I step on the scale the Bluetooth symbol comes up on the scale but it doesn't send the info to the app.

Really frustrated and probably going to return it

I think it is more so the app. Force quit the app then get to where you
would enter your weight then step on the scale the screen should change if
your current weight id displayed (make sure it matches the scale display,
your done tap save. if not step off then back on and it should update to
correct weight you may or may not have to tap save.

it's annoying.

Just to add an update, I just got the scale and I have this issue as well. I have to force quit each time. I don't like doing returns but may have to here.

Just the same. I'm getting tired of fighting with fitbit app and sync problems. Theres no reason to use this fitbit scale when you can as well and easily log your weight manually using just normal scale. Have to return it.

Add me to the list.  I've updated the scale's firmware to 1.6, reset it, deleted and readded it (Took a long time), stopped the app and cleared the cache.  It works once and then stops.  My frustration is high.  I'm getting ready to return it.

Same problem.  I force stop the app every morning in order to sync weight.  Why no response from fitbit????

Please post if yu figure this out

I returned mine back to the store. Was so frustrated that when the salesperson asked what was wrong with the product, instead of starting to explain accurately I just said that it's simply told a piece of crap. Salesperson seemed to understand my sense of humor.

Before returning the scale I still tried that tip to reinstall the app. Again just the same. First scaling worked and then not anymore.

reinstalling the app don't fix the problem as you seen. you have to force quit the app for it to work. When you reinstall the app it is like force quitting the app.

Well i wonder if google will see any f this and either fix it or kill it off now that they own fit bit.

I wonder if people with the Aria 2 have this issue. Seems like fitbit don't care about the Aria, still cost me $100 so would be nice if they addressed this

Well this is joke. Mine arrived yesterday and worked fine, tried again this morning and not syncing so thought I would look on here. How disappointing that this problem has been going on for so long without a fix. If it doesn't get resolved today it will be going straight back.
