So I picked up a used (but never used) Aria Air today, it connected, to fitbit app, asked me to hold button to get to "ota" then again to "clr" then it configured. It appears to connect via BT when I sync the app. But it never syncs to the app. Says unsync'd for 1011 days.
Now I see back in 2019 this was "resolved" but no mention of what the resolution was, just anecdotally that it started working again.
Anyone have a solution?
I've reset the app, turned off power saving and Do not disturb on the phone. Deleted data/cache and reset the app, reset the scales countless times but still it's stuck at 1011 days since sync. I see there is an icon for wifi on the scales but that never illuminates. Not even sure of the feature set of the scales, I presumed weight and BMI would work (sync) automatically and thats all I needed.

Sorry no help to yourself.. but I'm having a similar issue.. after migrating to Google account my Aria Air scales won't sync..
I've removed scales from app.. restarted/reset them.. was told they were in use by another account (yes.. my old one) resolved that issue but they won't sync.. when I stand on them fitbit app opens the log weight feature for me to manually log my weight.. so they're recognised by fitbit app but won't input my weight ???
Any help would greatly appreciated..
Many thanks

And a third. I have deleted the scale, clr'ed the scale, cleared the app cache. Re-added the scale but it never syncs.
At time when I weigh myself it pops up a manual add weight, but the scale has not synced and I can't delete users or see any recent weights.
Some searching says the scale might still be on the back and servers, but I can't find the Web version of the FitBit Dashboard anymore to try to delete the scale there.

Pixel 8a Android 16 Build BP3A_250905.014 App 4.51 (1103794856)
I have similar issues, however ...
If I open the app and step on the scale - never syncs, If I step on the scale, wait for the reading to finish then open the app- never syncs, BUT, if I open the app at the instant I step on the scale, it will sync 7 times out of 10!
Clearly there are some timing issues with the app/scale.

0 out of about 20 times. Loading app as I step onto scales made zero difference. Sure it brings up the weigh in, but doesn't fill in the details. This is now how the unit should work.
