Aria Air weight readings aren't consistent

My new aria air scales are not weighing me correctly. They’re showing me 2 kgs light and they’re not consistent. Any ideas?

Are you moving the scale around? It requires several weigh-is to recalibrate. Try to leave it one place.

@Lorrafree Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Before anything else, please note that unlike other scales the Aria Air will provide a unique measure at each weigh in. However, as @SunsetRunner mentioned, certain factors such as moving the scale, storing it up against a wall or not placing it on a hard surface may affect its accuracy. Also take in mind that your weight can vary over the course of a day depending on what you eat, drink and if you sweat or exercise.

That being said, please double check if your personal info is correct in your profile, and try taking up to three consecutive weigh-ins to recalibrate your scale.

Hi Patruns

really appreciate your reply. I have the scales on a hard floor and I’m not moving them. I’m comparing them against my old aria scales at the same time and they both show a different weight. I’d be delighted if I had lost 5kgs in 2 days, but I’m a bit more of a realist 😉. I’ll try the calibration technique. Thank you

Hi there, I am having the same issue and after having tried all of the troubleshooting tips above my way continues to be very inconsistent across multiple back to back weigh Ins. Please advise how to proceed. I’ve had this scale for less than one year
