Hi folks,
Just received and used my aria air for the first couple of times. In the app I use Stones and Lbs for weight measurement, the aria air I have set to the same.
The problem is when I weigh myself the aria air changes the units on the fitbit app to pounds! I then manually have to keep changing the app settings back to st/lbs every time I use the scales.
It also after syncing the weight from the scales after every use I get a pop up asking me to setup my aria air scales! They are setup, if this continues I'll be sending it back.
Anyone have a solution?

Hello @Campb85 and a warm welcome. Try this. If you turn the scale over, there is a small button with a U below it in the upper center. When you touch the button, the weight will scroll between stones, pounds and kilos. That button is very sensitive. I touched it by accident. So when I stepped on the scale, I was being weighed in stones! Not my usual unit of measurement.
I am not sure why you are getting that error message. To be sure, when you tap on your profile picture, the Aria Air is on your list of devices, correct? You might try removing it from your account, then setting it up again. This is a guess, not a tech support answer.

Hi, the scales are set to my preferred weight unit setting as is the app. Problem being every time my weight reading goes from the scale to the app it changes my weight unit setting to pounds on the app. I have to go into settings every single time it logs a new weight and put the settings back to what they were set at.

I'm surprised your the first person to also have this issue. Its a bit annoying and if the product was thoroughly tested before being sold it should have been rectified. It would be nice if someone from fitbit acknowledged it.

Just got my set 3 days ago and it's doing the same. The scales show the weight displayed in stones but the app converts it to lbs every time and you have to go into settings every time to change it back. Anyone from fitbit able to advise on a fix ???

Hi everyone- sorry for the delay with this thread. Our you still experiencing this issue? I haven't heard of this previously.
@LZeeW thanks for your suggestion here, removing and setting up again is a good troubleshoot to start.

Just got money and EXACTLY the same problem. The scales are set physically to stones via the button but every time I sync to the app my new weight the app changes to pounds.
Any sign of a fix Fitbit?
In the meantime once times 14 is 14, twice times 14....

Exactly the same problem, all set to the correct weight unit, then the second it syncs the scales to the phone it sets back to pounds....renders it basically pointless because I could manually enter it quicker than keep resetting it each time

Same issue here, except I have the weight on the scales and in the app set to KG.
When I step on the scale, the weight is displayed on the scale correctly as kilograms, but the app records the weight in pounds.

Same for me. I have the app and scales set to kg and when the scales sync my weight to the app, the app changes to lb.

Thought I’d add an up date. I posted this when I was using an android phone. I recently switched to an iPhone and this issue doesn’t happen. So it seems like a software glitch in the android app.
Fitbit need to sort out the android app.
