Aria Broken and not under warranty

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Aria recently broke and is 8 months past warranty. I think for such a high price scale, it should be good for at least two years!

The best customer service could offer me was a free premium membership. A complete useless offer without a device to use it with.

Would not recommend this item to anyone due to poor product life.

I am having the same problem. Battery dies very quickly because it’s constantly trying to sense and says step on. Any ideas besides taking the battery out and weighing for five consecutive times.

Mine broke after a battery change. Do you know what that’s about? Fitbit has a measly 12 month warranty which is crazy for such an expensive device.

This is turning out to be quite the mega scam from what I am finding out online.

My Aria stopped working a within a couple of weeks after the warranty expired. It had no issues before that. It was in the same spot as always. I contacted support and all they had to say was "warranty is expired, go buy a new one" without even looking into possibly repairing or fixing the one with the issue. Warranty is expired, go buy a new one, here are some links. What the heck is that? That is some Mafia level nonsense right there.

It's almost as if the exclamation mark popping up on the screen and nothing happening after that is code for internal customer support to know not to waste time on the service call, but to make a new sale instead. I get it for cheap products, but this is a scale that costs a few hundred dollars. And to have to replace it every year because the company that built it does not have the confidence to stand by their shoddy product?

I will be contacting the better business bureau and the local news to see if this is worth pursuing further because this right here is what I consider theft.

Same issue here. Bought a RENPHO scale on amazon for $25. It’s lasted longer than my Aria did and has better data.
