Thank you for sharing your experience in regards to the issues you had while changing the batteries of your Aria.
While changing the batteries shouldn't impact any setting on your Aria scale, it may be possible that these settings didn't save or it took too long to perform the change that the memory didn't retain them. I apologize for the inconvenience.
If by any case, you experience this loss of settings you can setup your Aria one more time by following the instructions from our help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? > Scales > Aria

I had exactly the same problem. Fitbit worked one morning, the next it didn't, changed the batteries on the spot and had to go through setup again. It was a disaster, literally spent hours trying to get it connected over days. The only way I got it to connect to my network was using my partner's iPhone.
