I can see that my original Aria Scale is syncing... Shows in the Devices list when the last sync took place and it was a few minutes ago. But the Fitbit app is not showing the most recent data for weight. Up until a few days ago the measured weight would show up on the Fitbit app almost immediately after the Aria synced. Now it's taking some amount of time to show up, regardless of refreshing or relaunching the Fitbit app. Something has happened on the backend to delay the new Aria reading showing in the app.

Same issue as others.
Today it’s getting worse: the scale says it last synced yesterday, but the Devices page shows my last weight from five hours ago.
I’ve already opened a support case with Fitbit and referenced this thread.
Edit: After restarting my phone, the device shows it last synced five hours ago. I believe this is a backend issue, since it started for me at the end of last week without any changes on my side.

Same issue. The delay is not acceptable for people who keep track of their fitness /weight progress. They probably cache the data on the server and do not refresh it for 6 hours or so. Are they trying to save money? I mean, I have been a Fitbit customer since 2015 - 10 long years - and I bought 3 different Fitbit. I hope that it is just a temporary glitch and not a product change.

I noticed when I signed up for FitBit community a notice that Fitbit doesn’t monitor these community posts. I’ve been having the same issue too. We all have to post these comments where FitBit/Google will see them.

Some of you have mentioned being able to see your weight measurements online before they end up <eventually> showing up in the Fitbit mobile app. My original comment was that I knew the Aria was still syncing based on the check mark that shows up on the screen of the Aria, and that many hours later the weight measurement would end up in the mobile app. But where online are you guys reading your Aria weigh-ins from? I've looked at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device and don't see my weight measurements there. Comments here make me believe there is another web URL available to see this information. Where?

@michae1a1ee Not online. I see it in the mobile app. I use an Aria 2, not an original Aria. I tap on my device/battery icon, then my Aria 2 tile. I see the last 30 days. I don't see any weigh-ins when I look at the web device settings for an Aria 2.

@LZeeW As far as I understand the Aria supports multiple users. You can read all the weight readings in the settings of the scales itself but Fitbit doesn’t copy the reading into the user’s profile. That’s why also weight sync (for example to TrainingPeaks) is broken.

@DominikR, each user on the scale is tied to their individual profile within the fitbit app. If I click on the scale in my app and then click Recent Weigh-Ins, I will see only the times I have used the scale. On my wifes phone, she will only see hers. Then, the weight widget in the apps profile is supposed to update with my most recent weigh-in data. That is what is not working on a regular basis the past week or so.

Through the mobile app. Not the web page. Go to devices, then your scale, then "recent weigh-ins."

Thanks for pointing that out. A different issue I'd reported to Fitbit back when the mobile app was updated is the fact that Devices list on the mobile app is only showing two devices. For me, my main Aria scale is not in that list of two devices, so I don't see that recent weigh-ins option. Perhaps I'll have to delete the other Aria scales that are on my Fitbit account in order to force the main one to show up in the mobile app. Obviously, Fitbit never fixed the issue that only two devices show at a time in the mobile app.

Same problem here, but I didn’t know about the graph updating. However, I have my Fitbit app feeding weight data to other apps, such as LoseIt snd Happy Scales, so this is not acceptable.

Indeed,
in my case I was having an IFTTT rule in order to turn the light on on the ground floor right after weighing (itself right after waking up), and to select a Philips Hue color in the bathroom that depended whether my weight goal was reached/maintained or broken. This has worked for years and years. I know it may seem a gadget rule for geeks but I liked it very much.
now the light turns on randomly up to 24 jours later, often right after midnight, when the weight of the balance is eventually moved to my profile on the Fitbit servers!!! An my wife is very upset when this is happening while we sleep.

Same issue here with updated iOS app and Aria 2 scale. I stumbed on a workaround of sorts.
If I manually enter my weight and body fat, then perform a sync, the weigh-in transfers into the app from where it is listed under the scale in the devives list.
Then, I delete the manual entry.
YMMV - This hasn’t worked this morning

I have open a support ticket about it (through the chat) and it was passed to the second line. I should get a answer within a couple of days.

Same here.
I see my recent weigh-ins in the scale's setting but they don't show up in the app's dashboard right away. I have to wait a full day.
I've been manually logging my weight into other apps that depend on fitbit's weight data.
My setup :
Android Pixel Pro 6
Fitbit Scale Aria 1
Fitbit App 4.55.1 (Released Oct 26, 2025)
