Aria Scale syncing but App isn't updated immediately

I can see that my original Aria Scale is syncing... Shows in the Devices list when the last sync took place and it was a few minutes ago.  But the Fitbit app is not showing the most recent data for weight.  Up until a few days ago the measured weight would show up on the Fitbit app almost immediately after the Aria synced.  Now it's taking some amount of time to show up, regardless of refreshing or relaunching the Fitbit app.  Something has happened on the backend to delay the new Aria reading showing in the app.

The data makes it fast to the Fitbit server, as a new measure on the device.

The delay is not in the front end but in the move of that information in the corresponding individual user profiles. It affects all ways at looking at the data, including the front-end and the APIs.

For those that are frustrated by the API webhook/notification issue for client apps where you will never get the historical data regardless of the delay, I have found a workaround that works for me on TrainingPeaks.
Weigh yourself first thing in the morning, say 07:00. This calls the client app which then sees no data because of the delay. Monitor the Fitbit App until several hours later, your 07:00 weigh-in appears. Then, if you can, jump back on the Aria again for a new weigh-in on the same day which in turn will call the client webhook again but this time it will successfully retrieve the data from the 07:00 event, rather than the current one and update the values in the client app.

The problem appears to be getting "less bad" for me in the last few days. It's taking about 3 hours to sync from the scale through to my profile which still isn't great, but a big improvement on recent performance.

Thanks for getting back to us and for your feedback.

Our team is still investigating this and working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.

I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

It appears to be FIXED! Thank you. Weighed in this morning and when I just went to the app the weigh in was there in the table. Normally it would not be there until the afternoon. Thank you for getting this done!

UPDATE*** - I think this might have just been a timing issue. After the post from @Washburn100 below I tried it again and it failed. So back to waiting...sorry for jumping the gun and getting excited.

Hey @MuleDeer, which post by @Washburn100 are you referring to?

Andrea, my appears in the phone app, but it's not syncing to my Inspire.  The message indicates the Aria synced ,ie: 5 hours ago, but then it also indicates last synced 41 days ago. Firmware version 3.

Just spent hours trying to get my Aria 2 scale syncing in the log after migrating to a Google account. Deleted cache and data. Reinstalled the app. Checking settings...

After finding this thread I can confirm I have the same issue.

Hopefully it will be solved one day, but as it is occurring for months now I think we have to wait for ages ☹️. Will follow this thread for any news...

Yeah... I have added Fitbit to the "Discontinued for Life" in my household and upgraded to a reputable brand.. for Xmas I removed every fitbit device in my house and binned it... all watches, scales everything... if Google/Fitbit dont take these issues seriously and fix them in a timely fashion, they can get ....ed! I will never buy another product from them again....!

I've encountered this today as well. Last month it worked fine. I rely on Aria (thr original) to sync5to samsung health.  The data goes to cloud as I've seen in my profile here in the website the Aria synced and my current weight is accurate on my profile. But it doesn't show in the app, therefore doesn't sync to Google fit, health connect or smasnung health

Andrea, arguably the most important feature of the app for this Aria scale is its immediate syncing of weight measurements to one’s app. Why can’t Fitbit just temporarily roll back to the last version before this issue became the widespread issue that it’s become?

I mean, I’ve not seen any noticeable new feature or enhancement that outweighs (excuse the pun) the benefit of immediately syncing weight/body fat.

Someone please tell me what you’ve seen new or better added to these few last versions that is of more value than immediate weight syncing?

It's just the opposite: I *dread* every app update. They invariably either break something or remove a needed feature. It's getting almost predictable.

In fairness, what they lack in responsiveness to this critical feature's collapse they make up for with diligent deletion of criticism in this forum and entirely vapid responses thanking you for your patience! Hi to everyone who sees these messages before this part of the thread is culled!
