: I recently talked to one of Fitbit support agents agents and the agent did an excellent job in trying to solve my problem. Unfortunately my problem did not get resolved and I'm not sure it can be resolved.

I am having the same problem. I am not sure if I buy a new scale it will solve the problem either!

Hi, welcome to Fitbit Community forums, @noavjoe @Barb209 .
Thank you for sharing all this information about what you've been experiencing with the Aria scale and the steps that you already tried.
There are a few instructions that are recommended when there is a change in the wireless network or internet provider, please make sure to follow all the recommendations listed in this article.
If you already tried the steps mentioned earlier, please try removing the batteries for 10 seconds and then put them back in to complete a restart of the Aria scale. Then check if you continue to experience the same behavior.
If the scale still won't connect to your network, I recommend that you continue the communication with the Customer Support team so they can let you know how to proceed. The best way to get help for this problem is to chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.
I'll be around.

I had the same problem. The Aria scale will not connect to newer internet routers. I bought the Aria 2 and the connections there worked no problem. I have had it for a couple of years and having another issue trying to invite others to the scale but that is another issue. I don't think the Aria 2 is an option anymore and now it is the Aria air but it should have no issue connecting to your wifi

Thank you so much for this feedback. I think I will go ahead and upgrade my scale. Again, I appreciate the response.

Check my post from June 2021. Aria 1 wants 802.11b protocol to connect to router. Doesn’t like g or n on newer routers. I stumbled on UTube article with instructions to set up old router as type 802.11b access point. As soon as I set it up Aria connected with no problem.
