Will this scale automatically connect to my phone shared mobile connection? Or do I need to configure it every time when I set my phone hotspot on?

Do I need to open Fitbit app every time when I step on the scale to log my weight? Will Fitbit app automatically log my weight or do I need to hit "save" button every time?
