Aria battery life gradually reducIng

Over the past few months my aria has been chewing through a lot of batteries. My partner and I probably only weigh ourselves weekly and we only realised we were BOTH replacing the batteries frequently and  have gone through a huge stash of batteries which most recently lasted 2 days

Same is happening to ours.  I’d sure like someone to answer this.  I’ve reset the whole thing... reset WiFi, etc.  It has been turning on without anyone touching it and just keeps giving “step on”, “step off”, etc.  it stays on for a while.  That may be why batteries are draining so fast, but can’t find any kind of updates or anything to explain this.  So frustrating!

I think it’s broken and out of warranty... from what I gather Fitbit won’t
repair it or replace it. I bought a eufy scale at a fraction of the cost
and it works seamlessly with Fitbit on android and iPhone.

I'm having the exact same problem. I've gone through 2 packets of Duracell in recent months. I seem to need to change the batteries on a weekly basis. I have had my scales for a long time. Many years. So it may be time to get the latest model as a replacement.

I bought some Eufy scales. They were much cheaper than fitbit and work just
as well.

Ours is doing the same thing. I got rechargeable double A batteries because I have to replace it every 3 days or so. It makes it hard to trust the numbers it is recording. 😞

Mine started doing the same thing almost a year ago. It turns on as if someone stepped on it, but no one is using it. So it's constantly on and drains the batteries.
