I got a new router and had to change the network name in my Aria.
Before I did this, my body fat %age was around 30%, every day, going up or down by a percentage or two.
After I changed the network, it's suddenly in the mid 40% range! I'm sorry, but that is NOT possible. My body fat percentage did not jump that much overnight. I put the Aria back in the EXACT same spot.
Today, I tried cleaning off the top. I also went through EVERY setting in the Fitbit app and discovered that, somehow, my gender wasn't set, which I know it to have been previously, but I don't know how long it's been unset. I set it back to male.
Today, I took three weigh-ins. The first was before I fiddled with the Aria and the gender. 44.8%. The next two were after. They came in at 38.8%.
What is going on? How is it getting such VASTLY different values when I'm literally changing nothing that should have anything to do with how it measures body fat %age?
