Aria device “not found” in wifi setup mode

I’m trying to connect my aria to a new wifi network (I moved). I put the scale in discovery mode (press button on back) and start the process just fine, the scale responds normally, but my phone won’t register the device is “on and wishing range”, even though my phone’s Bluetooth is connected to the scale.
