Aria is not providing accurate body fat readings

I have an Aria that is about 2 years old. It shows me at 36.5% BF. I just purchased a Renpro for the increased info and it shows me at 18.5% BF. Does anyone know why there would be such a difference? They both use impedance right?

Hello @YancyRex and a warm welcome.  While both scales use bioimpedance, there are proprietary details that make all these sales different from each other.  Think patent infringement.  Although this article from Consumer Reports  is a few years old, you might get some insight as to why you see the difference between scales.
