Yesterday my percentage was 18.4%. Today it was 24.1 yet I lost 2.3 pounds. What is up with this erroneous error?

If you lost 2.3 pounds in a day, a lot of that loss was probably water, leaving you somewhat dehydrated, which gets interpreted as loss of muscle.  Look for the fat % to get to normal as your water balance gets back in sync.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@AndySchober It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not providing accurate body fat percentage and weight readings. The information that shared my friend @JohnnyRow is totally correct.

As an aside note, in case the issue persists, please restart your scale by taking out the batteries for 15 seconds and put them back in. Once you've restarted your scale, weigh yourself 5 times in a row. Finally, make sure that your scale is placed on a hard surface and you are standing barefoot and still on it.

Let @JohnnyRow and me know if the issue gets fixed! Smiley Happy
