I am told that my Aria scale is not compatible with 802.11n Xfinity modem, which is the requirement for my Xfinity internet speed. Can Fitbit update it’s firmware for the Aria scale so that it will be compatible? Or if that is not possible, offer some exchange or rebate for a compatible Aria 2 if it is compatible?

Hi Brendavo,
This is a known problem with the Aria, has been going on for years and nothing has been done about it. I'M HOPING THAT GOOGLE WILL FIX THIS PROBLEM AS THEY ARE NOW THE OWNERS OF FITBIT!!!

This is so frustrating. I recently moved and our new apartment complex uses Xfinity (had Comcast before). It sucks to have a device that has worked fine for 3 years to suddenly go caput. It’s not my fault my building using Xfinity. And this doesn’t seem to be on Fitbit’s list of concerns. Makes sense though - it’s a hardware issue and they would have to release a whole new scale.

I was told that the problem would be fixed by Oct 23rd. My Aria is still not working. I use a working scale, get my weight and enter it manually each day. I do not have a readout on my BMI. My Aria just gives me an ERR message and I can't even get my weight on it. I have a Blaze and won't update because of how badly this company has responded to this problem which they caused. I bought my scale about 5 years ago and have not had a WIFI problem. Sad.
