What a bummer. Received the Aria scale as a gift only to find out it works on the 802.11b standard. That protocol came out in 1999, the Aria was released 17 years later. Come on Fitbit, 802.11b is dead like disco. It looks like a lot of people on your forums are pissed and confused about wireless/connectivity issues. I wouldn't expect them to know how to change settings on their router to make their scale work. Not to mention the issues it will cause on devices that do work on 802.11n.
Long story short for folks that are having issues connecting. Your home internet by this point in time is faster and on new standards. Aria scales do not work on new equipment. I would return or give you scale to someone else and buy a better scale like Garmin or Withings.
