I have tried multiple times to connect to my new NBN (wifi network) the set up says it has been completed.
When I go to use it, it goes through the step on, thinking & then error.

Networking Requirements
The Fitbit Aria connects directly to your home’s wireless network and supports the
following network configurations:
Wireless 802.11b standard
WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security
Automatic (DHCP) IP setup (static IP configuration not supported)
Aria requires an 802.11b-compatible network to connect and sync your scale data to
your Fitbit dashboard.

Fortunately our new NBN router has dual band wi-fi. In order to enable the Aria to sync we had to create a second network using the slower speed of 2.4GHz. If you have this capability make sure the device you're using to sync the scale to the slower network - phone, tablet, laptop, desktop - has access to that same slower network. It took several attempts but I finally got the scale to sync to the wi-fi.
I suspect if I want it to sync to my app I'll need to switch between the two networks, but I refuse to set my whole house at 2.4GHz just for the sake of a scale when we can have 5GHz.

Unfortunately the problem moved beyond the wifi connection.
It was actually connecting to the new network but the error is accruing afterward.
the issue is once you step on it just going into thinking & then error

That’s not good. I have seen on other threads as I searched for an answer to my initial problem where this happened. It seems the usual answer from the moderators here is to just refer you to Customer Service. You may be better off going right to them (although reviews of them weren’t great either 😕).
Good luck!
