@FrankieJ117 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear about the setup issues you've experienced with your Aria scale and your new network. I would like to follow up and would like to know some details: What is your router's make and model? Also, please make sure that your new router runs the protocol 802.11b, bandwidth 2.4GHz and the WiFi password is alphanumerical only and contains less than 31 characters.

If these details are already covered, let me know and I'll be happy to assist you accordingly.

I found out I had to change my wireless type. The 5g doesn’t work with the scale 😞

Update:

We ended up having to switch back to slower internet that wasn’t 5g Smiley Sad

I am having the same issue.. just upgraded my internet with Shaw and received the Arris XB6 modem, ever since the Aria scale cant find my wifi upon setup. Has anyone found a fix for this? Very frustrating .. Im hoping fitbit can release some sort of firmware update or solution to this problem, as now I have a scale I can no longer sync with my account.

Hi there! I had the same "Wifi Err" issue after upgrading my internet connection. The modem was replaced, and after that, "Wifi Err" at the last step of the setup. It was a Sagemcom modem. I called the ISP and they replaced it with a brand new Technicolor modem. Same error. Then I had this idea: why not sync the Aria through my cellphone? I created a hotspot with the same SSID and password as my Wifi connection. Then I went through the setup steps, and after submitting network and password to the scale, I *immediately* turned on the hotspot. The scale synced properly through my phone. After linking the scale, I turned off my hotspot, and the scale continued communicating properly with my Wifi!! All sorted! Woohoo! I hope this works for you too! Greetings from Argentina, Rodo
