Well after deleting this one, and posting there...the thing just never
showed up. I am pretty annoyed about it actually as it was a long and
detailed post. I will try to sum up.

In short I lost a few lbs, while working out and taking in large amounts of
protein. According to the body fat percentage meter on the Aria 2 it was
all muscle.

I went from 175.5 and 19.9% to 171.7 and 21.5% body fat. So according to
your scale I lost 3.8 lbs total, and 1.991 of that was muscle. That would
mean that 50% of my weight lost would have to be muscle. That just doesn't
make any sense at all. After ready what others have said on the forums it
seems highly unlikely that your scale does any real body fat measuring. I
even compared it to another scale...the one I replaced and that said I lost
half of the muscle amount that yours does...also not very accurate
according to what science says about losing muscle...but still quite a bit
better than yours and it is a 10 year old scale.

I have gone over all the numbers and it just doesn't make sense. I have
also recalibrated the scale several times. I always weigh at the same time
and conditions and monitor my numbers heavily.

Your scale has a major issue with body fat percentage. Is there any way to
fix it?

@JTWrenn Thank you for getting back and providing more details about the issue. Since your Aria is not providing body fat percentage accurately even after re-calibrating your scale, I'd just like you to make sure that your Aria scale is placed on a hard surface and you are stepping on it still and barefoot.

If these details are already covered, let me know and I'll be happy to proceed accordingly.

See you later! Smiley Happy

Yes it is on hardwood. I am not moving it to a new location. I always use
bare feet and it is giving readings that are technically impossible.

It actually said that I lost 6.12 lbs of something other than fat, and
gained 2lbs of fat while on a diet that has a calorie deficit and working
out. I think that is actually impossible. I am not sure it is possible at
all to gain 2 lbs of fat while being in a calorie deficit.
