Aria original won’t connect to new wifi

We have a new wifi and I am not able to get my original aria scale to update. The “setup active” does not display, but it does show the former wifi name and display “tap to change”. I tap the two bottom corners of the scale and nothing happens. Then the screen turns off. 
i have updated wifi before, and had no issues. Is there something that I’m missing?
