Aria "battery empty"

My Aria is showing on the app with "battery empty" so it will not sync with the app, however, it has new batteries in it, and it is showing weight, body fat, and my initials, showing it knows who I am when I step on the scale.  Is there some sort of reset I need to do so it won't send the message that the battery is dead and will start syncing again?

I just put brand new batteries in my Aria scale 2 weeks ago. I only weigh myself every other day. It is already showing that I need to replace the batteries.


Any suggestions? Sometimes I walk into the bathroom and it is just turned on by itself.
