Aria - ridiculous process for a battery change. Wouldn't synch, removed from app , now cannot synch to reconnect it to the app

how can this be difficult? It is changing a battery? should be straightforward batteries out / batteries in like any other electronic device,

The app says that some functions have been disabled when trying to set up the scales as they are original aria scales

Not the original Aria but I have this issue with the Aria Air and it looks like this is connected to migrating to a Google account.
This needs to be fixed immediately.

changed the batteries and now the reading is totally bizarre   looks like this    9:  12.8       at bottom of screen are my initials and word lbs

what the????
