Aria scale doesn't provide BMI

It is great that they can build these scales. But here is the problem with the scale. If a person say is a below the knee amputee or above the knee amputee and they have there false leg on and get on the scale it will weigh them but not give them there bmi. also if the person takes off the leg and stands on the scale it  can not give u Ur bmi. It would be great if they made a scale that when a person enters his prosthetic leg weight. Then get on the scale and it will automatically deduct what that person weight is and bmi. but that may never happen because i am person who wears prosthetic leg and every 3 months will get on the scale and have to change the weight in the fitbit app to what i would weight with out my prosthetic leg on.

Interesting point there. I sympathize with your situation.

Not at all to make light of the situation, but I wonder about the value of BMI for you.  I would think a different scale of recommended BMIs would be needed because you would be expected to be lighter for your height without the weight of the missing leg.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
