Aria scale not included in product addition

I am having a heck of a time getting my Aria scale (older version that only uses wifi, not Bluetooth) to connect to my current wifi. It doesn’t allow me to connect to my 5G network, only my 2.5G network of which I do not use.
Si, now I’ve figured that I’ll do something different and add my scale, again, to my products in my app settings. Guess what? The Aria 1 is no longer a product that can be added. Only the Aria 2 or Air. What’s up with that?

It has never allowed a 5G connection. As I am still using the original Aria I can't test the other part as I already have it installed on my account. Is it possible it is still somehow connected to your account? If you go to your dashboard on the Fitbit website and click on the gear in the upper right does it still show up?

Hi,
Yes it still shows but is connected to my old wifi from 3 years ago. I don’t want to delete it as I’m concerned that the Aria will still not appear in the product choices to add.
I’m also wondering why I can’t edit my old Aria in my product list in order to change the wifi information. Products and their connectivity glitches are a real let down go credibility of the product. I’m using my fancy scale as a manual scale that only gives me my weight. I can’t reset to factory settings by putting a pin in the reset hole or I can’t access the “set up active” field by pulling the batteries and replacing them. Repeat this process too many times to admit.
Fix the glitches and let me use my scale or send me a new scale to make up for this hassle.
