Aria scale not turning on after replacing battery

my Aria scale suddenly stopped working after I replaced the batteries. It doesn’t turn on. I replaced 4 different set of batteries and cleaned the surface of Aria where batteries insert but it doesn’t turn on.

I have the same issue. After reading other threads on this site, it appears that there is no help. Fitbit simply recommends new batteries and cleaning the contact surfaces for the batteries.....as if we wouldn't have tried that.

 

I guess I am just going to have to purchase a new one.
