I have seen other posts, I have tried what they have said worked for them. But still getting guest.
I have previous been asked «is it me», and let me tap the scale to say yes it is, sorry I gained some. But now, not even asking, just saying I am a guest. There is no longer any «recent weight ins» due to privacy reasons, so I can’t ad it to me, and also tried to log it manually, but still did not work.
I guess I can hope if I loose the weight again it will recongnize me. I do have plans to continue on with my weight loss journey, but recent health issues and surgery affected my life.
But I don’t understand why it wont even ask me if I am me. There is only 1 user of the Scale, and that is me.
If loosing the weight wont work, well guess I’ll look into changing brands and finding another smart one that works. Cause I don’t want to log manuelly, and also not have the option for fat measurments anymore.
Although, maybe setting up a new account could work, if there is a way to do that, say I am suddenly a partner of mine 🤔 But such measures should not be the only way to fix this 😕🥺

@PepsiMax807 An Aria 2 is supposed to trigger a guest weight if there is an 8 lb weight difference. My Aria 2 doesn't follow those rules and will make me a guest with normal day to day weight changes. I can alway trigger the "is it me" by weighing myself in socks. Your weight change just might be too much. If this doesn't work, I think I would try removing the scale from my account, then adding it back as a new device. There is a risk that you might not be able to get it back on to your account. It is still listed as a device you can add. I don't think creating a different account will help. You would need to switch accounts just to follow your weight. You can'r merge data.
Your scale doesn't 'know' that you are the only person with access to it. Fitbit might call it a smart scale, but it's not that smart.

I did try to step on it with socks, and I did not get ask if it was me. I’ll keep trying in january when I’ll be back on my journey.
And I wanted to clarify, I meant to add another person to my account, not really creating a different account. But adding an extra person to my household. There should not really be a problem with that I would assume, as you are suppose to be able to have more than just 1 person using it, or maybe I’m wrong 🤔
I figure the scale should know that I am the only one using it, as my person is the only one registered to it 😅 but I might be expecting it to be smarter than it is.

Update!
Yesterday, the last I did before giving up wss addint the weight manually, and then I left it alone until today. And today, I did recognize me! Yeay! Gotta keep weighing myself through this holiday I think, and get back to a good rythem again in january 👍🏻
Figured I’d leave a comment to explain how I plausibly solved my issue. Can’t know for sure if thats what did it. But something worked 😅
