Aria scale shows an "ERR" message

I have an Aria Air for which I just changed the batteries, and not all I can get is Err. 

1. this was not happening before the batteries were changed

2. after spending 2 hours fussing with the wifi, I can only get it to connect to a guest network with a password set to 12345678

3. once connected to the new, all I get is "Err" 

at least it could keep on displaying the weight, why does it even need a network. sound like the UX / PM need to think users' first.

I bought 4 watches. Glad I bought the extended warranty thru best buy, at least I was able 

to get replacement for every ones of those. Each fail after less than a year of usage

I travel between asia and the US, and every time I have to reboot the phone, reboot the fit, and try so many reset just to get the watch to reset its time. 

Every so other (3 weeks), the ionic looses connectivity with the phone, I have to do a whole bunch on manual reset, blue tooth on/off etc just to get the watch to resync.

Overall, I got my last watch from fit, I like the watch, I like the overall idea of the software but the execution of the product is really pathetic.  Or the company culture is ok with cutting corners and delivering a poor product experience or it is badly managed, something got to explained the high level of defective products I have encountered. 

A note that best buy does not offer extended warranties for fit bit products anymore, that has to be saying something.

@Fastersunshine   A user in a different thread contacted Support and was told the you should be able to set it up next week.  The Aria Air will appear on the list when you tap on + Set Up a Device on your app.
