Aria scale synching weight even when I don't weight

I have an Aria FB201W scale that has worked well for many years. Recently it started recording weight into my Fitbit app everyday, regardless of whether I use the scale or not.  Some days it records the same weight more than once. How do I get it to just synch my weight to Fitbit only when I actually get on the scale?
