Aria scales drains batteries fast

My Aria Scales after 5+ years keep running the batteries down. Normally I used to changes batteries every 6-9 months, now the batteries are only lasting about 2-3 weeks! Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers.

So how do we get Fitbit to answer our query! I'm really cross about it because they were very expensive!!!

Mine has been draining batteries since I got it!! 
did you find a solution. I can weigh myself maybe twice & then the batteries are shot. I weigh myself once a week.
