Aria scales quit sending weight data to app and desktop

The scales work fine for both hubby and myself as far as showing correct names, weight and fat%, however we are having to manually enter the data into our apps or on desktop. We have uninstalled and applied app, changed batteries, reassigned users, and all other suggestions pertaining to this problem. The last time it actually logged by itself was in Jan. 2024. What other brand of smart scales (no more Arias) work properly with Fitbit?

Mine has been doing the same… sees me as a guest and DOES NOT send the info to the phone. I bought my Aria 1 in September 2016 for $129, so no warranty available. Tried resetting to home WiFi, with taking the battery out, etc.

The best idea they could come up with is that the Bluetooth on the scale will not send to your phone. So the Bluetooth transmitter is broken. Oddly enough, it is telling my phone when it synced last, that the new batteries are at 100%, but it will not recognize my weight and send to app… usually after you weigh, you get the “arc” thing at the top, “thinking” then a weight, then a :heavy_check_mark:,, then a circle rotates top center under where the arc thing was…

THAT IS YOUR BLUETOOTH CONNECTION talking to your phone. If it does not rotate (like mine), you’re a guest, and no weigh in is recorded.

i just purchase an Aria Air for $49. It is supposedly Bluetooth only, so you do not have to monkey around setting it up to your WiFi.

Hey Jogger
I bought an Aria Air here in the UK from Amazon a few months ago - my OH carried on with the original Aria tethered to his FitBit account. Then the fun started when we were told Google wanted us to sign in, instead of Fitbit. I started to use the Air but it wouldn't talk to either my phone or ipad and just sits there sullenly. Have just bought a cheap scale which both of us can use and track our details over time. Such a shame a perfectly good product has been ruined apparently by being taken over by Google.
