I had my scales working fine at my previous house, now moved into new property and just can't get beyond the Sensing, Step Off, Thinking, Err. message. Scales are on my wifi 2.4ghz. and I am on a hard floor, barefoot what else can I do?
Thank you so much in advance

Absolutely agree with you!! Have bought some scales that cost 1/3 of the price of the Fitbit ones, give more detail AND add the data to the FITBIT app!!
I have voted with my wallet and made a
purchase from Amazon and bought iteknic scales which are fabulous. Having bought 2 x Arias it was enough.
To be honest... I threw the Fitbit scales in the bin and bought a cheap set from amazon that link the data across into Fitbit by Bluetooth
Aria at £100 are just not worth it after two broken sets

Hi,
I bought a new brand of scale too, as others on this thread posted. I wrote a post about my new scale here.

Hello Juan, I am curious what instructions y send in order to get the scale displaying weight / user.
i informed Fit Bit support team however the answer given was to purchase a new Aria as mine was out of warranty. Super customerservice!! I dont think that this is the correct way to deal with your customers. If Fit Bit doesnt come with a better answer then next step is to inform the national consumer organisation.
I do hope this issue solved in the right way.

I've had the exact same error. I've recently moved and it was working fine initially but after I connected it to my new wifi I started getting this error. I've taken all the troubleshooting steps listed above. Flat surface: check barefoot: check attempt. Even factory reset, and tried it all again. Still receiving the same error.

I have this scale brand new and have not used it at all. I set it up today, got it connected to the wifi network. My fitbit account had this device. I have not been able to use it at all. Reading the messages on this forum really worried me and wondered whether I made a mistake buying a fitbit brand. This is not a cheap scale and did not work at all.
I tried to follow the instruction here by removing the battery for > 10+ seconds, weighed myself 5 times and still got the ERR message.
