Aria shows a "Sensing, Step Off, Thinking, ERR" message

After replacing the batteries,  and receiving the error pattern.  Pulled out the batteries and tried again.  Decided perhaps the App had lost connection,  I deleted the Aria, and re-added the device.  Went through the set-up process...

Same bloody error.

Did the googles research and have tried the battery pull out 10 seconds,  recalibrate 5 times,  then it will work routine.

Same fecking error.

Washed my fecking feet just in case the sensor was offended by 8 hours of shoes. Pulled and replaced the wee batteries. Reasses the little git was well balanced and not bollocksed. Stood perfectly still...

Same error after the 5 calibration rounds and I choose to look to the people for actual help instead of the arse-badgered useless support... and find, I've not gone round the Bend.  Fitbit has.  And I should fling the little wanker of a scale in the rubbish bin as Fitbit has deemed it obsolete.

On the upside had a bit of free step-aerobics and waist bends now didn't I?

Hi @SunsetRunner,

After locating your error message on this page and reading that you already did the recommended remedy, I think there might be something wrong with either your scale or the WiFi network.  Are there any special characters in your network password or router name?

If the answer is no, then there seems to be something wrong with the scale.  I would contact the retailer (Fitbit or third party) and see if they will be willing to exchange it.  If not, then I would contact Support to see what they can do for you.  If you need the link to Customer Support, you can find it in the link I provided.

Thanks for trying.  It's not the network, it's not the scale... it's the upgrade Fitbit has forced to "obsolete" the syncing of this scale to their "new and improved" bull**ahem** app.  I will not ever be purchasing another Fitbit scale or device, as this practice of forcing an expensive upgrade on a fully functioning device is ridiculous.
