Hi
Batteries kept going flat after each weigh in, then "sensing ERR message appeared and will not clear. Have changed batteries and resett scales, all will not clear fault!!!
Is this Fitbit's attempt to false everybody to upgrade to Aria 2?

@OddjobEd It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is showing a "Sensing Thinking ERR". Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by changing the batteries. I'd like you to try one more workaround that is helpful for this type of issues: take out the batteries, clean the contacts of the scale with a cotton swab and a little bit of alcohol. After this, put the batteries back in, place it on a hard surface and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

Yes have tried that.
plus weighing myself 5 times. No joy.
Reset with batteries in, reset with batteries out, still shows thinking then ERR

Hi
i think I had the same problem with my scale as you but was disappointed with Fitbit’s response to those who posted about the same issue. My solution was to go with a different brand. See my post about it here.
