Aria shows a "Sensing - Thrinking - Err" message

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have had the Aria FB201B working fine for 2 years, but suddenly it shows the "Sensing -> Thinking -> Err" message on display. Have tried having the batteries out for several minutes, and even setup from scratch again, but nothing helps. Last sync was on October 24. Please help me Fitbit support.

It seems as though everyone is having the same problem with the Aria scale. What is FitBit doing to fix it? We have tried all of your troubleshooting suggestions and nothing is working. We need a real solution to this problem. Thank you.

My only hope is that at some point Fitbit realises that there is something seriously wrong with their product and they will start helping. For now the only thing they do is cashing and ignoring all complaints.

I have not as of yet heard back from Fitbit.

I changed routers and thought I would reset my Aria scales. I also needed new batteries.  I used the setup exe to connect to a new router. Using this I get Sensing....ERR.

Then read that was no longer valid and the setup method was to setup using the "aria" wifi.

When connecting after replacing the batteries the scales state "Setup Active" and continue to do so, it is not connecting to the Aria wifi.

The software on the scales is V39

I have followed all the suggestions made...I really like my scales and dont want to get rid of them.

I have had the scales for 3 years

Same issue as all others on this thread; started this morning. I spent time with a FitBit agent using online chat and he had me wait 60 seconds and then weigh myself five times in a row. Not surprisingly, that didn't do anything. His resolution was for me to buy their Aria 2.

The way the Aria is acting up & there's no technical or any other support
for it, makes me really hesitant to buy the Aria 2. I really like the first
one.

If Fitbit no longer support aria they should give everyone sufficient notice. PLUS offer to selll Aria 2 with a discount. I expect scales to last longer than 3 years. I think it is the software and not the scales themselves.

This is just bad company communication.

I would like like to see Microsoft stop supporting windows 10 without any notification of end of life. There would be uproar

I agree. I don't think they want to fix it. They just want you to buy the
new one. Right now my fitbit is pretty worthless without the use of my
Aria. I haven't been able to track my husbands or my weight in months.

In my opinion, I feel like Fitbit is giving all of us Aria users the
finger. Do a software update, do something to fix the problem. I didn't buy
this expensive scale for it not to be working & now collecting dust &
taking up space in my bathroom.

Sooo frustrating!! 😡😡

Is anyone preferably a senior manager from Fitbit monitoring this post?

I think this is a far more widespread problem which will become more prevalent once people start changing routers and find they can’t connect their scales. I had my last router for 5 years. I recently changed over as I am now on NBN

NOT HAPPY!
