Hi there,
I have just set up my Aria to wifi for the first time which was successful, but now receieve the following messages:
Hi 🙂
Sensing
Step off
Step off
Step off
Step off
Err
I have removed all batteries for a short period and also am only attempting this on a hard surface. All to no avail.
Are there any other options to get this working?
Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I would send back the Aria Air, and at least look at the Withings Body+ that will still have your muscle and fat ratio! It synced with my Fitbit dashboard in one click, as Fitbit has a wizard to sync them. I only purchased the Body Cardio because the vascular age and pulse wave velocity got me. Oh, and it has WiFi, which was a qualifier for me, as I don't want to have to pair with my phone every time.

Couldn't agree more! I will not spend another dime on Fitbit (UA) products if they care so little about their customers. I bought a Eufy pretty cheap and LOVE IT!

I'm not aware of any Under Armour affiliation with Fitbit. Google did acquire Fitbit though which finalized January 2021. Am I missing something?

I have the same problem, and I have followed all the steps. Occurred after changing batteries. Set up is OK, but the Step off message is coming continuously

Hi!
My scales have stopped working - changed battery, connected to wifi but in a continual loop of
"Step off - Sensing - Thinking - Error" mode.
I've read through the other similar threads, done the trouble shooting.
Can anyone help as they were expensive and reluctant to replace with a cheaper brand, not to mention the landfill issue!
We have had them over 4 years, but I feel like they shouldn't just die!

Hello,
I have the same problem. I nearly didn't use this scale since I moved to a different continent soon after I bought it, now I came back, and run into this issue. Seems like money literally thrown away, unless there is actually a fix.

My aria has developed the err issues as described above after working well for the last year. I have tried all of the suggestions; removed andcre-set up, linked to home WiFi successfully, removed battery for 10 sec, attempted to weight x 5, error still occurring. Any suggestions. Aria out of warranty

Hi. I’ve tried everything as well. I called Fitbit customer service and they walked me through all steps also. At the end of it, they suggested I buy a new one.

Very dissatisfied.
So, what’s the fix for this ERR issue? I tried the recommended steps, still having same issue.

I’m yet another Aria user with the same problem. Tried the batteries out, weigh 5 times fix to no success. If it’s just broken, please just say so. The I can stop mucking about and buy some ones.
