I jogged 30 miles today and haven't eaten since yesterday.  Now my Aria thinks I'm a guest.  How can I tell it that it is really me?

@Vern3535  There is an easier way to fix this, if it happens again.  From your app dashboard tap on Account > Aria 2 > Recent Weigh-Ins > the Guest weight > assign it to your icon.

I admire your ingenuity and tenacity.

I guess I figured out one way to fix this.  I filled water jugs up with the same weight I lost today and weighed myself with them.  Then I dumped a little out each time I weighed and it accepted the weight as mine until the water was all gone and I weighed in at my actual weight!

I am having the same problem and havent used the Aria 2 in a while. So far, I've tried resetting the scale, weighing myself multiple times, and assigning the guest weight to my profile through the app. None of these tips seem to be working, any other tips to resolve this issue?

@CraigW14 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is still recognizing you as "Guest" even though you have the recommended troubleshooting steps. Please make sure that your profile settings (height, weight and gender) are correct. If the details are correct, please try setting up your Aria 2 from scratch and see if it recognizes your user properly.

Okay so how do you fix it permanently so you always have to waste your time going in and changing it?

I had a day off and gained 0.2kg. Now I am guest.

In the past when I had big losses it occassionally got confused and asked if it was me, and let me tap on the scale to confirm, but not this time.

It now insists I am a guest. I have confirmed it is me in the app half a dozen times but the scale still insists I am guest.

The scale is in the same place on the same hard wooden floor as the last correct measurement the day before yesterday.

That assigns the weight, but it does not calculate fat% for guests
