Aria turning on itself and draining batteries

Found the reason why Aria scales are turning on by themselves and sensing then draining the batteries.
it’s poor manufacturing that is the cause.
wires are routed over plastic walls and getting trapped causing them to break over time.
the reason are lugs to hold the wires in position but Fitbit manufacturing have not used then and taken shortcuts.
Fitbit should repair this even if the scales are out of warranty. The fault is due to shoddy workmanship.

It looks repairable. I'd just fix it. Ours was doing the same thing, but it was due to a cracked leg support. I had to get a new one 3D printed.

I have fixed it. Just soldered the wires and put some sleeve on the joint.
tidied up the other wires. All working now.
