My scale weight fluctuates in a 5-pound range. The only reason this is bothering me is I'm in weight loss challenge and today is weigh-in day! Which I have to capture with a photo. I missed taking a picture of my first low weight, so I hopped back on the scale and was 3 pounds heavier, then I weighed myself another nine times and each was different, going higher each time!
Q: I store my scale flat on a shelf in my closet. Then move it to the floor to weigh in. Would that affect weights?
Q: What about the age of the scale? Mine is about 3 years old is that considered too old and I need to get a new one?
I just want my weight to be somewhat accurate. What do I do?
