And yes, I've looked through the help logs. No, i have no ethernet cable connected to my computer. I'm simply following the steps. i keep getting the wifi err. SOOOOOO incredibly frustrating. I'm sure if i try 10000 times it will work, but my god, why do I need to?

@colonizethemoon Thanks for participating in our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Aria scale is not connecting with your network. I want to know a couple of details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue: Did you make changes to your network (router, WiFi password, network settings)? Do you see any error message during the setup process? Did you have your scale connected before?

Looking forward to your response my friend! Smiley Happy

Hi JuanJoFitbit,

Thanks for getting back to me. Still having no luck a day later. No, I
never had it connected before, it's new. And i haven't made any changes to
the router etc. I only get an error message on the scale itself, once I've
gone through all the steps and I'm waiting for it to connect to Wifi. It
then says Wifi Err.
I"m looking into sending it back. Just not having any luck with it at all.

Thanks! Will check it out and let you know if I have any luck.

No. Absolutely nothing. But are you seriously excited to share a possible solution which has 26 steps and involves me letting down all my internet security? What the hell is wrong with this product? I've never hated anything so much in my life. Haven't received any answer on how to return it for a refund. Might just have to leave it on the side of the road.

Days later still completely unable to connect. Does ANYONE have a fool proof method? I bought this scale with flyer miles and the airline is saying I cannot return it unless I can prove it is faulty.

I’m not opening up my WiFi and taking the risk to set up this scale...
I’ll buy another brand, and get an Apple Watch for my wristband....

Same here. Trying to set up my aria to a new wifi network and can't. this is so frustrating. I love the charge 2 so much but the aria is a pain in the neck to reset. WHY FITBIT WHY!! I WANT TO LIKE THIS SCALE BUT THE RESET PROCESS SUCKS!!!

I have a similar issue, Rogers ignite modem, the app sees all networks but mine. Another user posted about the same issue but the final response was sent be email so I don’t know what the solution is. We recently changed providers so I did a re-setup of the Aria but it won’t connect... so frustrated!

2 years later & i have the same problem. Guess "the team" don't listen!

Changed router, can't connect to Aria. Done most of the steps but nothing. Did live chat but dude was useless. Needed a bunch of tech stats. I'm a consumer, not a modem/router technician!

Aria won't go into set up mode, link to set up software gives me a 404, I ONLY HAVE ONE HAND so "tapping corners" is impossible, it should NOT be this difficult!

P.S. Changed to Bell Fibe 50; uses a Home Hub 3000 router, all tech requirements are fine.
