Same issue here.
My phone updated and now it can't connect to my Aria2 anymore. Other phone (one Android, one iPhone) won't connect either.
Don't have wifi here so can't use the scale anymore.
Super, super annoying!
Can't find out how to solve it 😞
Yes, removed batteries, changed phone name, changed SSID, changed password, got to 2,4GHz etc. Still doesn't work. Tried other phones (iPhone 4, 5, 6, 7 and X, Samsung, Landrover Explore etc. all won't connect)
Hope there is a solution now otherwise: Scale is still in guarantee so think I'll sent it back, it's completely useless now.

@VerticalMaria I've moved your Aria 2 question out of the unrelated Aria board, the setup process is completely different.
I assume your scale is still connected to your Fitbit account, correct?
When you say that your phone can not connect, the connection between the phone and the Fitbit app uses Bluetooth only. Syncing of your weight happens through wifi.
Do you receive any Error message on the Aria 2 scale after weighing yourself? If so what are they?
Since the scale needs wifi, door one of your phones have a hotspot that you can enable? I would then use the other phone to setup the scale to attach to the hotspot.
Preferably you want the phone you mostly use a for the hotspot which will need to be turned on before weighing yourself.
Another possibility would be if there is a open wifi not requiring a sign in, it a neighbor's wifi that will allow you to attach the scale.
