Aria won't connect to new network

Just replaced our Airport Extreme router with a Linksys Velop mesh network, now trying to get the Aria to connect but having zero luck. Following all steps outlined in manuals, forum posts, etc.:

  • Log in at /scale/setup,
  • Give it a name and enter my initials,
  • remove and replace battery on scale,
  • scale indicates firmware v39 then shows old network name,
  • tap bottom corners of scale to activate setup mode,
  • switch to Aria network in laptop wifi,
  • choose the new network and enter its password.

Then I get nothing, and typically setup mode times out on the scale while I'm trying to refresh and try again.

I've tried this using Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

I've tried a second laptop.

I tried my phone. My wife tried hers.
I've deleted the Aria network in network settings and deleted browsing data when re-trying.

All while sitting next to the primary node of the network.

Any suggestions?

@t.reid Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not connecting to your network. Thank you for trying all the steps that you mentioned above. I would just like to know if your router is running the protocol 802.11b and bandwidth 2.4GHz. These settings can be reviewed with your Internet Service provider.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy
