Aria won't link

I have tried to link my aria, but it is not working.  I took out the battery, put it back in and it is just a regular scale.  There is no set up or link option to choose from.  I go into my wifi settings and I have nothing!

Wish there was a way to online chat or talk to a person to get this resloved!

Hi @SunsetRunner, Welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you link your scale to your fitbit account. Thank you for the troubleshooting you have already performed.

Sometimes the issues are related not knowing exactly which Fitbit scale you have to install. If you're unsure which scale you own, turn the scale over and remove the battery cover to check how many batteries it contains:

Aria uses 4 AA batteries
Aria 2 uses 3 AA batteries and has “Aria 2” written on the back of the scale
Aria Air uses 3 AAA batteries.

Once you know the model of your scale, you can follow the instructions in our help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? below the section "Scales".

Hi @arturom, thank you for your confirmation.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues while setting up your Aria scale.

Now you have confirmed you have a first generation Aria scale, i need to point out that some requirements are needed in order to successfully setup your scale to your network. For reference see How do I set up my Fitbit device?  > Aria > What router settings do I need to set up and sync Aria?

If your environment meets the requirements, then specify in which step of the 13 listed in our help article are you stuck in. For reference see How do I set up my Fitbit device? > Aria > How do I set up Aria? > To set up your Aria scale:

I'd say I'm in step 10, and the requirements  of my network are correct

Hi @arturom, I hope you're doing well!

I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

Users usually find trouble in this step when network doesn't meet the requirements. 802.11b frequency setting, WEP / WPA / WPA2 personal security
Automatic (DHCP) IP setup.

If you have verified these settings and they are all correct, then my best advice at this point would be to contact technical support. They have the most appropriate resources to assist you further.
