Aria won't provide accurate readings

I've had my Aria (I guess it's a "1") for a few years, along with a semi-old digital scale. They have always showed the same weight, until I recently changed the batteries in the Aria, then the Aria showed 2 pounds more than the digital scale. I recalibrated the Aria (twice) and now it shows *3* pounds more than the digital. Is there a fix for this? I see others have similar issues, but I don't see a solution.
