Aria wont connect to ASUS router

Hi,, aparently I’m not the only one who has problems connecting my new Aria 2 to a router. I am trying to connect it to Asus router, 2,4 ghz via wpa2. Did try all the suggested stuff from this forum and scale was indeed able to connect for a few seconds afterwards it just wasnt able to sync or do anything.

any suggestions as what to do? Should i try older router? Can aria connect through WPS?

Many thanks

@MartinR33 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is not connecting to your network. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I would just like to know a few details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue: is your router running the protocol 802.11b? Is your Aria displaying any error message?

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

In the router settings there’s no specific option to choose B variant of the connection. I can only choose Auto, N only and Legacy. Also there’s a b/g security checkbox which I’m not sure is doing. The router however supports B connections, at least that’s what they say in the specification.
