This Aria is new out of the box. Aria 2 connects to WiFi... then during the process of syncing (rotating arrows, arc going across the top) it somehow disconnects from WiFi, displays a frown face with a WiFi fan and an X, and says “WiFi connection error”. I have reset and gone through multiple WiFi setup processes. It sync’d once the first time I turned it on, and won’t sync or connect to WiFi since.

@Lisac16 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria 2 is not syncing with your network. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums. I would like to know if you have tried resetting your router also.
As an aside note, I would like to know what is the make and model of your router and would like to know if the protocol that your router runs is 802.11b and the bandwidth is 2.4GHz.
