I suggest a Renpho scale that is fully featured and syncs perfectly with Fitbit.

I have to agree that in today's market the Aria Air is quite a poor choice. It seems to be lacking almost all of the features that the competition have. I'm not sure why Fitbit stopped selling the Aria 2 as it's a much better scale in my opinion. Hopefully they have something better in the works.
