I’ve had the original Aria for years - I don’t want to deal with the hassle of connecting to my new network (for several reasons). Is there a way to use the scale with no WiFi connection? I am using it now, still linked to my old network, which obviously doesn’t exist to connect. As a result, the batteries run out quickly because every time I weigh myself it will try several times to connect. Any suggestions?

Wow, how did you even get it to work like that?
I aways get thinking > error... its SO frustrating! I know I can not connect it to the wifi in my new place but I just wanna use my (expensive) scale and manually enter data in the app. Seems simple enough?
Anyone got a way to use it like this?

@hdrye Your Aria (and this applies to the Aria 2) will always try to sync to your account. That's the basic programming. I don't know of any way to turn that part off.
@mjon I am sorry, but I can't help you, either.

Some miracle happened and I was able to connect it to my new wifi. Made sure 802.11b is turned on but guess what.. ERR!
What a **ahem** **ahem**ty product. And reading all these threads and @Fitbit not doing ANYTHING helpful is just the worst CX I have ever encountered. Please, @Fitbit , don't respond with any of the standard answers. Yes, I have tried them all, multiple times. Come with something that works!

Every time I have to change batteries and the scale disconnects there is a problem.
Mine says ERR after showing that it IS connected to the proper WiFi no matter how I approach the problem or download the computer app, or whatever. It is pretty much an expensive waste to buy this scale.
I pulled out my old weight watchers unit and may or may not keep track in FitBit. There are too many bells and whistles that are getting added with updates. Still can't determine the purpose of those sleep numbers since there is no way to regulate what my body/mind does when I'm in lala land? I've learned to pay attention to the best times to get to bed and wake up. That's been positive but those goofy numbers don't seem to make any sense and who cares?
Fix the expensive scale program, please!!!
