Can't connect Aria scales to unsecured network

Urgh I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!

Trying to connect my Aria scales to my network, which is all over the building and I usually connect with my phone etc when a pop up prompts me for my username and password. So I can connect without doing this, I've given the company (Freedom Internet) the MAC address for my Foxtel, Apple TV, and Aria scales. Everything else has connected okay (sorry for being so long winded!)

But when I go to connect my scales using the method where you connect them to your wifi and are prompted here (https://www.fitbit.com/scale/setup/start) it doesn't show me the network. So I manually typed in the SSID (which I believe is the network name) with no password and pressed enter, but it couldn't find the network 😞

Does anyone have any suggestions? I can choose a variety of other networks but unfortunately I don't have the passwords for them! Thanks 🙂

@Nayby, from your description, it appears that your open network is not set to include the 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz protocol. The wireless router needs to be checked to ensure it allows that protocol in order for the Aria to connect to it.
